Zeynep Tosun Bakır

Zeynep Tosun Bakır has a strong work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Zeynep is currently working as the Manager of Diagnostics Engineering at EVBox since October 2021. Prior to this, they were the Manager Diagnosis Daimler Buses at Mercedes-Benz Türk A.Ş. from August 2019 to September 2021. Zeynep also worked at Daimler AG for several years, where they held various positions including Project Management in Mercedes Benz Truck Electronics from October 2016 to July 2019, Project Management - Entire Vehicle from July 2014 to October 2016, and Truck Development Engineer from July 2011 to July 2014. Before joining Daimler AG, they worked as an Automotive Engineer at Bosch from April 2008 to July 2011. Zeynep also gained research experience as a Research Engineer at Werkzeugmaschinenlabor der RWTH Aachen from November 2005 to August 2007, where they focused on FE simulation of the manufacturing process of bevel gears. Zeynep started their career as an intern at Wavin GmbH in July 2004.

Zeynep Tosun Bakır has a diverse education history. Zeynep completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi (Middle East Technical University) from 2001 to 2005. During the same period, they also pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics at the same institution. Zeynep then went on to earn their Master's degree in Automotive Systems Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, studying from 2005 to 2008.

After working for a few years, Zeynep continued their education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Strategic Management of Daimler Trucks Entering Chinese Heavy-Duty Commercial Vehicle Market from Bahcesehir University between 2012 and 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Zeynep has also taken several certification courses. Zeynep completed courses in "Greening the Economy: Sustainable Cities," "Advanced Competitive Strategy," "Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python)," "Influencing People," and "Chinese for Beginners" through Coursera. These certifications were obtained between 2015 and 2016.
