Rumika Chiba

Rumika Chiba is an accomplished professional in the field of autonomous driving technology. As the Founder and Project Owner of RumiCar since April 2013, Rumika developed a platform focused on creating autonomous driving algorithms. In March 2023, Rumika took on the role of Product Manager at Eve autonomy, a joint venture between Yamaha Motor Company and TIER IV, where responsibilities include examining client requirements and improving communication in autonomous systems. Prior experience includes serving as Project Manager at ZMP Inc. from June 2021 to March 2023, where Rumika delivered services involving autonomous driving robots and enhanced management systems across teams from 30 countries. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Tokai University and further studies at USC Viterbi School of Engineering and Syracuse University College of Professional Studies.
