John Boardman

John Boardman is a board member at Events DC and was previously a managing director and global head of merchant operations at Castleton Commodities International from 2013 to 2022. John was also vice president-finance at BG Group from 2007 to 2013, where they led all aspects of the mid-office, back-office, contract administration, treasury, payroll, budgeting, accounting and reporting activities with a team of over 60 professionals. Boardman has also served on steering committees for IT system solutions including the selection and implementation of a global risk system (Endur), global credit system (ROME), data warehouse system (ZEMA), electronic confirmation system (E-Confirm) and automated joint interest billing system (JIBLINK).

John Boardman received their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from Western Illinois University and their Associate's degree in Accounting and Finance from Black Hawk College.
