Haixun Wang

Haixun Wang is currently the VP of Engineering and Head of AI at EvenUp and serves as the Editor In Chief of the IEEE Data Engineering Bulletin since 2018. Recognized as an IEEE Fellow, Wang also holds the title of Distinguished Fellow at the Fellows Fund, and acts as an Affiliate Professor at the University of Washington. With a strong leadership background, Wang has previously been the VP of Engineering and Distinguished Scientist at Instacart and WeWork, leading significant projects in various organizations including Amazon and Facebook, focusing on natural language processing and search technologies. Wang earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science from UCLA, a Master of Science from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and a Bachelor of Science from the same institution.
