Sujal Patel

Sujal Patel is a seasoned professional in the insurance and legal sectors, currently serving as the Chief Underwriting Officer for Europe and Head of Corporate Underwriting at Everest since April 2020, alongside roles in the CUO Office Data & Platforms and as UK Head of Transactional Risks. Prior experience includes significant positions at AIG from November 2015 to April 2020 as M&A Manager and Senior M&A Underwriter, where AIG's global M&A insurance team was recognized as a market leader. Sujal's background also features a role as School Governor and Chair of the Resources Committee at Peartree Primary School, Legal Counsel at Hyperion Insurance Group, and a progression from Paralegal to Solicitor at Berwin Leighton Paisner, handling various corporate finance transactions and legal matters. Sujal holds an LLB Hons from the University of Leicester and a Distinction in the Legal Practice Course from The College of Law.
