Rudy Buys

Rudy Buys is an experienced maintenance management professional with a strong background in the mining and metallurgical industries. Currently serving as the Maintenance Manager at Evolution Mining's Cowal Gold Operation since July 2019, Rudy oversees asset management, engineering, and project execution for both fixed and mobile plant operations, as well as non-processing infrastructure and underground mining activities. Previous roles include reliever Operations Manager and Maintenance Superintendent FP at the same company, along with various superintendent positions at BHP Billiton and Xstrata Alloys, where responsibilities encompassed risk control, project management, and the coordination of maintenance schedules. Rudy holds a degree in Project Management and additional qualifications in Electromechanical Engineering and Millwright Trade Maintenance.
