Dr Jamil Ahmed

Dr. Jamil Ahmed currently serves as the Director of Facilities Management at EVTEC Group, overseeing multi-site strategies, facility maintenance, real estate, and capital projects. Previously, Dr. Ahmed held the position of Vice President of Manufacturing & Facilities Management at Drako Motors, where responsibilities included leading investment streams and worldwide operations. Dr. Ahmed's extensive experience at Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd encompassed roles such as Director of Facilities & Operations Management, where oversight of the new SUV plant and a department with a £250m budget was key. Early career positions included significant roles at Rover Group and BMW Group, focusing on production management and engineering. Dr. Ahmed holds a Doctor of Engineering honorary degree from Birmingham City University, a Six Sigma certification from Ford Lean Academy, and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the University of Central England, among other qualifications.
