Roland Mueller

Roland Mueller has extensive experience in information security and IT management across various prominent companies. Currently serving as a Divisional Information Security Advisor at Expedia Group since July 2022, Roland previously held the position of IT Manager supporting Engineering Services & Parts Systems at Mercedes-Benz USA from January 2013 to June 2020, where significant contributions included modernizing a Global Warehouse Management System and developing a Cloud-based Website for Vehicle Recall Information. Roland also worked as an Information Security Officer at Mercedes-Benz USA, managing security and compliance for major operations. Prior roles include Corporate Information Security Officer at Daimler Financial Services AG, where risk management strategies were established for over 40 countries, and President and CEO at TUViT, Inc. Notable early career positions include Director of Information Security at Secunet Inc. and Manager of Privacy & Information Security at Daimler-Benz AG. Roland holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science with a minor in Economics from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg.
