Bo Qing

Bo Qing is a highly experienced professional in the field of biological engineering, currently serving as a Senior Manager at Exponent since September 2018, having progressed through various roles including Manager, Senior Associate, and Associate. Prior to this, Bo Qing was a Ph.D. candidate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from August 2013 to June 2018, focusing on the design and optimization of gels to simulate brain tissue for ballistic testing. This role included developing novel methods to characterize mechanical properties of compliant materials and investigating surface adhesion's role in energy dissipation. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Biological Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's Degree in Bioengineering and Materials Science & Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. Previous research experience encompasses dynamic hydrogel development for cancer stem cell studies, enzymatic polymerization kinetics, and ischemic postconditioning research at various prestigious institutions.
