Alberto Bresciani

Alberto Bresciani currently serves as the Director of Project Biology at Recursion since November 2024 and is a member of the editorial board for the Society for Laboratory Automation and Screening (SLAS) since November 2018. With over fifteen years of experience in drug discovery and biotechnology, Alberto Bresciani has held various leadership roles, including Director of Project Biology at Exscientia and Director of Infectious Diseases at IRBM, where projects focused on viral infections and involved multidisciplinary teams. Previous positions include Director of High Throughput Biology and Screening, Director of a GLP/GCP testing facility, and Lab Head in Screening Technologies. Academic credentials include an MD in Industrial Biotechnology from Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca, obtained from 2001 to 2005. Alberto Bresciani has also contributed to scientific boards and committees, including Thalamoss and ELRIG.
