Chong Wang

Chong Wang is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at Extreme Networks since July 2023, Chong previously worked as a Distinguished Software Engineer at CommScope from August 2011 to May 2023, focusing on PON and cable modem device management using micro-services in a Kubernetes cluster. With a strong background in software engineering, Chong's earlier roles include Team Lead and Senior Software Engineer at Siemens, where management of 802.11 access points was paramount, and Software Engineer positions at Navtel Communications, Enterasys Networks, Nortel Networks, and Apple. Chong holds a Master's degree in Computing Science from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Software from Peking University.
