Alvin Abraham

Alvin Abraham currently serves as President of the ExxonMobil Foundation, a position held since February 2023. Prior to this role, Alvin was the Executive Director at TEACH - To Educate All Children from October 2020 to February 2023. From July 2017 to September 2020, Alvin was the Founding Dean and Executive Director of the Dougherty Family College at the University of St. Thomas. Earlier in the career, Alvin held the position of Founding Executive Director and Middle School Principal at KIPP Minnesota from August 2012 to June 2017. Alvin also served as Elementary School Principal at Houston ISD from June 2008 to August 2012 and as Assistant Principal and Teacher at Fort Bend ISD between August 2005 and May 2008. Alvin began the teaching career as a Corps Member with Teach For America at Houston ISD from June 2002 to July 2004. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education in Educational Administration from the University of Houston and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Texas A&M University.
