Joe Colyn

Joe Colyn is the Mentor & Industry Expert at F3 Tech Accelerator. Joe has over 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry. Joe has a proven track record in developing and executing sourcing strategies, contracting new ingredients, and managing a portfolio of vendors. Joe has also led a Global Strategic Sweetener Sourcing Initiative that delivered a $6M annual savings on a $270M spend. In addition, Joe has consulted for the executive team on technical and agricultural aspects of emerging biotechnology issues in Europe, Asia, and North America. Joe has also implemented a full-cycle supply chain system for three novel grains, managed the contract agreements with plant breeders, seed companies, farmers, and commercial elevators through to processing plant delivery.

Joe Colyn's educational career includes a Bachelor of Science in Agronomy and Crop Science from the University of Guelph, as well as a Certificate in Public Policy, Political Leadership, Government and Public Office from the Academy for Political Leadership.
