Nicolás Chiarino

Chris Nicol is an experienced Electrical Engineer at SMART Technologies since July 2010, where responsibilities include developing hardware for DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices as part of a cross-functional team. Previously, Chris held the title of Firmware Engineer at the same company, focusing on firmware and diagnostic tools for similar technologies. Additional experience includes serving as an Electronics Contractor at the Science Alberta Foundation, where Chris designed and repaired electronics for educational devices, and as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Calgary, assisting in electronic circuit labs. Chris also worked as an Electronics Engineer at Grindcom, contributing to the development of control systems for forestry harvesters through circuit design and software development. Chris holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
