Tarja Strahlman

Tarja Strahlman is a seasoned business development professional with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as the Business Development Director for the Energy Transition Practice at Faculty since April 2023. In this role, Tarja is focused on scaling applied AI solutions and early generative AI applications across the energy system. Additionally, Tarja has contributed as an advisor and judge for Tech Nation's Net Zero/Climate Programmes since July 2022. Prior to these roles, Tarja led OREN Solutions as CEO and Shell Venture Lead, where responsibilities included product vision, commercial strategy, and stakeholder engagement with Shell and IBM. During a decade at Shell, Tarja held various positions, such as Digital Services Manager and Global Account Manager, overseeing product delivery and account management across global markets. Tarja's educational background includes a double MSc in International Management from Rotterdam School of Management and a BA (Hons) in Business Studies from Bournemouth University, complemented by studies at HEC Paris and Sup de Co Amiens.
