The Technical Designer, Women’s who enjoys weaving creative problem solving and data with technical accuracy to create amazing products in a dynamic, fast paced environment. You will be responsible for assisting with multiple product categories and ensuring fit and quality standards are well-executed and consistent across all styles.

What you’ll do:

  • Track, receive, and send all samples, reference garments and paper patterns
  • Prepare samples for fittings by measuring, checking construction, and maintaining sample history
  • Manage Fit schedule arranging model time, calendar invites, zoom sessions and sample priorities based on seasonal calendar
  • Assist Sr. Technical Designer in all fittings with notes and photos, managing all documentation follow up
  • Write fit comments, release Tech Pkgs, and communicate all revisions to factories
  • Work closely with Sr. Technical Designer on problem solving and creative solutions for fit issues utilizing paper patterns, draping, sample mock-ups and detailed mechanical sketches
  • Communicate daily with factories to manage all remakes with clear and complete written and visual support
  • Assist with new product development adding specs and mechanical drawings to new seasonal launches
  • Organize and maintain seasonal sample storage

What you’ll have:

  • 5+  years of recentconsistent Technical Design experience is required
  • Degree- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Design or a related field of study is required
  • Broad based knowledge of Women’s product including outerwear, woven bottoms, soft dressing, knits and sweaters
  • Experience in RLM BeProduct or relevant product management software
  • Technical fluency in Illustrator, Photoshop, Zoom and Slack
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills for managing large volumes of information and detail
  • Ability to work closely with cross-functional partners including Design, Merchandising, PD and Production
  • Proactive and energetic approach to staying ahead of tasks and deadlines
  • Positive and creative attitude for seeing challenges as opportunities

We aim to pay competitively for our size and industry. The base salary range for this position is $45 - $60USD, but we will consider location, skill level and experience to determine the final offer.
