Gaye joined the Board in 2002, strengthening the Fairbrother family involvement in the business. After initially working in media and consulting, Gaye followed her passion for health and trained as a dietitian.
Now an Accredited Sports Dietitian working in private practice and with the Tasmanian Institute of Sport, she has been able to provide input into Fairbrother’s company health and wellbeing program. In addition to her nutrition focus, Gaye is working on embedding positive psychology-based initiatives in the Fairbrother wellbeing program and is a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach.
Gaye is the current Chairperson of the Fairbrother Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Fairbrother Group established in 2007 with a particular focus on supporting education, health and wellbeing and Tasmanian community initiatives.
