Kala Berry

Kala Berry holds extensive experience in marketing and communications within public sector transportation and community management. Currently serving as the Head of Marketing for Fairfax Connector since October 2010, Kala Berry also contributes as an At-large Board Member for the Fairfax County Park Authority, having been appointed by Fairfax County Board Chairman Sharon Bulova. Previous roles include Communications and Public Information Officer for the Northern Virginia Transportation Authority and Director of Communication for both NVTC and NVTA. Kala Berry has also held positions such as President of the Burke Centre Conservancy Board of Trustees and Program Manager for Public Relations and Outreach at the Department of Defense's SBIR/STTR Program. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Speech/Communication from George Mason University and a fellowship from the University of Virginia's Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership.
