Kendra Lee is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in editorial management and public information. Currently serving as a Public Information Officer for Fairfax County Government since June 2017, Kendra Lee is responsible for developing internal and external communications, event planning, and program marketing for the Domestic and Sexual Violence Services division. Kendra Lee also operates k.lee editorial consultants, providing editing and writing services across various mediums since 1993. Previous roles include Editor at Black Health Matters (2012-2020), Executive Editor at Heart and Soul Magazine (2005-2012), and editorial consultant positions with BET and Black Entertainment Television. Kendra Lee holds a BA in Mass Communications from Emerson College, earned between 1984 and 1988.
