Lauren Leone

Lauren Leone currently serves as the Assistant Communication Specialist at Fairport Central School District since July 2024. Previously, Lauren held the position of Dayside Assignment Editor at WHEC-TV News10NBC, overseeing daily news team operations, cultivating sources, and training new hires. Earlier experience includes roles such as Nightside Assignment Editor/Web Producer and Year in Review Proofreader at The Ithacan, as well as a Segment Producer at WCNY. Lauren has also contributed as a newscaster and correspondent at WICB 91.7 FM, and interned at WROC-TV Channel 8 and Buffalo Toronto Public Media. Educational achievements include a Master's degree in Strategic Communication from SUNY Oswego and a dual Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Politics from Ithaca College.
