Mitch Hastings

Mitch Hastings is an experienced Wind Turbine Technician and Electrician with a strong background in electrical installation, commissioning, and maintenance across various sectors. Currently employed at FairWind since May 2020, Mitch focuses on quality assurance and service for Vestas V136 & V150 wind turbines at Warradarge and Yandin Wind Farms in Western Australia. Previously, roles included high and low voltage electrical installation and tower testing for SGRE Formosa 2 & Yunlin Pre-Assembly Offshore, along with electrical installation and commissioning for Goldwind turbines at Cattle Hill Windfarm. Additional experience includes electrician positions at Fredon, Huff Group, Phoenix ME Ltd., and DH & LS Chilcott & Son Pty Ltd, working on projects ranging from commercial to industrial and marine. Mitch holds a Certificate III in Electrotechnology from TAFE Tasmania and has foundational education from Launceston College.
