Ashima Nayyar

Ashima Nayyar currently serves as the Global Product Line CFO at Wabtec Corporation since May 2024, overseeing the Power Collection product line across Europe, Asia, and the US, with responsibilities that include managing financial outcomes, M&A activities, and strategic business decisions. Prior to this, Ashima held the position of Head of Finance at Faiveley Transport from May 2021, where duties encompassed performance management, commercial finance, bottom-line optimization, cash management, and overseeing the acquisition of the MASU Rail business. Ashima's extensive background includes positions at GE Transportation as Finance Head for FP&A and Services, where leadership in business performance reporting and project management was key. The early career path included roles such as Senior Finance Manager and Senior Corporate Auditor at GE, focusing on financial strategies and internal controls. Ashima holds a B.Com (Hons) from Shri Ram College of Commerce and an MBA in Finance from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad.
