David Swanger

David Swanger is a seasoned retail professional with extensive experience in management roles, particularly at Family Dollar since May 2001. Currently serving as Zone Operations Director and Regional Vice President, David oversees 290 stores across three states, managing a team that includes 15 district managers and over 2400 store team members. Prior to this, David was recognized as District Manager of the Year for Region 3 from 2001 to 2005. David began a career in management at Eckerd Drugs from January 1982 to March 2001, where responsibilities included managing 34 stores in Western Carolina. David holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Accounting, with a banking emphasis, from SUNY Broome Community College.
