Sheelah spent many years at Farm and Wilderness as a camper, counselor, and now as a parent. Farm and Wilderness is where she nurtured her love of nature and learned many life skills. She was most recently the Deputy Commissioner of NYC Department of Cultural Affairs. She previously served as Executive Director of the Coalition for a Smoke-Free City, and has conducted public policy campaigns covering a range of areas including economic self-sufficiency, parks development, and public health. She holds an M.S.A. from Saint Michael’s College and a B.A. from Goddard College.
