Garry Battle

Garry Battle is an accomplished law enforcement professional with extensive experience in various capacities within public safety and criminal justice. Currently serving as a Police Sergeant at the City of Farmers Branch since August 2015, Garry has held prior positions as Corporal and Police Officer in the same department. Previous roles include Police Officer at Dallas Area Rapid Transit, where oversight of surveillance at major transit locations was a key responsibility, and Juvenile Supervisory Officer at Dallas County, focusing on youth supervision and program development. Garry also has experience as a Professional Athlete in the Arena Football League and as a Correctional Officer with the North Carolina Department of Correction. Garry holds two Bachelor's degrees in Criminal Justice from Fayetteville State University, obtained between 2003 and 2007.
