Simo Leino

Simo Leino is an experienced professional in mechanical engineering and product management, currently serving as an Architect and Product Manager at Fastems since April 2018, where responsibilities include developing and maintaining pallet automation products and creating new offerings. Prior experience at Pemamek spanned nearly a decade, holding roles such as Head of Design Office, Chief Design Engineer, and Design Engineer, leading teams and executing mechanical design tasks for welding automation machines. Earlier positions included mechanical design work for hydraulic waste compactors at Kospa and various production and maintenance roles in the manufacturing sector. Simo holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Tampere University and a Bachelor of Science in Machine Automation from Turku University of Applied Sciences.
