Alexey Shovkun

Alexey Shovkun is an experienced professional in data science and artificial intelligence with a robust career spanning over two decades. Since October 2017, Alexey has served as the Head of Data Science at Fayrix, leading a team in executing diverse data-driven projects. In addition, Alexey holds the position of Director of AI Consulting at DATALYTICA LIMITED, focusing on technology consulting in areas such as knowledge management, machine learning, and predictive analytics. Previous roles include Chief Data Scientist at IotCars, Chief AI Officer at Brainify.AI, and Head of Directorate at Sberbank-Technology, where Alexey managed software development processes. Alexey's earlier career at LANIT involved establishing a Business Intelligence center, while the journey began as a Software Engineer at QBIG. Education includes a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence and Software Engineering from the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI.
