Agata Szymanska

Agata Szymanska is a seasoned professional in the fields of gender equality and international affairs, currently serving as a Senior Desk Officer at Folke Bernadotteakademin since June 2021. Previously, Agata worked as an Adviser on Gender Equality for the European Union Advisory Mission Ukraine from June 2018 to June 2021, and held multiple roles at FBA, including Training and Project Officer and Gender Advisor during the Viking '14 civil-military exercise. Additional experience includes advisory positions on gender equality with EULEX Kosovo and various roles with Transparency International and the Swedish Armed Forces. Agata's educational background includes a Master's degree in Politics and International Studies from Uppsala University and a Bachelor's degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from Malmö University, alongside international exchange programs.
