Wasima Habib

Wasima Habib is a dedicated professional with a focus on information technology and education. Currently serving as a scholar at the Folke Bernadotte Academy since May 2023, Wasima is involved in a 1325 scholarship program aimed at promoting women, peace, and security. Previous experience includes roles in IT and coordination at RIZ Strategic Consulting, Lincoln Learning Center Kabul University, and Afghanistan International Bank, where responsibilities encompassed information technology infrastructure, database development, and management. Wasima has also held positions at the Hamida Barmaki Organization for Rule of Law, the Islamic Investment and Finance Cooperatives Group, and the American University of Afghanistan. Educational qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Information Communication Technology from Rana University of Afghanistan and additional studies in ICT at NIMA.
