Alje Schut

Alje Schut is an experienced football professional, currently serving as Chief Scout and Performance Coach at FC Utrecht since 2015, where responsibilities include coaching top talents and leading scouting programs. Schut has also held positions such as Coordinator of Professional Scouting and Assistant Coach within the FC Utrecht organization. A former professional player, Schut captained Mamelodi Sundowns F.C., winning the South African PSL and League Cup during tenure, and played for FC Utrecht for 13 years, culminating as team captain and a member of the players' council. Additional experience includes representing Dutch professional football players through the VVCS and educational credentials from KNVB College, achieving UEFA coaching qualifications.
