Cyrus Roohi

Cyrus Roohi is a seasoned aerospace engineer with extensive experience in both public and private sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Strategic Policy Advisor at the Federal Aviation Administration since September 2021, Cyrus previously held the role of Director of Training at Amazon, where the design and implementation of flight training programs were executed. Earlier experience includes positions at the Federal Aviation Administration as a Technical Special Assistant, providing critical support for UAS integration, and at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division as a Test Engineer and Unmanned System Safety Director. Cyrus began a career in broadcasting at ESPN Radio, hosting a sports talk show. Academic credentials include a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art and Virginia Tech, respectively.
