Sean Healey

Sean Healey is a seasoned financial policy expert with extensive experience in banking and regulatory matters. Currently serving as Deputy to the Director at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) since May 2023, Sean advises Director Jonathan McKernan on critical policy issues such as Basel End-Game and Long-Term Debt. Prior roles include Risk Expert in Capital Policy at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, and over a decade at the Federal Reserve Board, where Sean held various positions, culminating as Lead Financial Institution Policy Analyst, focusing on regulatory reforms. Additionally, Sean represented the Federal Reserve Board at the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision and has prior experience interning at the US Treasury and consulting for Agora Partnerships. Sean holds degrees from New York University and Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
