Matthew Allen is a seasoned communication professional with extensive experience in public affairs and crisis management across various government agencies. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor for Cyber and Emerging Threats at FEMA since June 2020, Matthew acts as the primary liaison with cyber threat offices and is recognized for expertise in coordinating responses to cyber incidents affecting FEMA's mission. Previously, Matthew held key roles including Director of Communications at FEMA, and Communication Professional at the U.S. Department of the Interior, overseeing significant teams and budgets. Additional experience includes serving as a spokesperson for the Department of Defense and holding various public affairs roles within the EPA and Department of Veterans Affairs. Matthew is the President of Allen Dynamics, a certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, and holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Utah.
