Maria Wynne is an experienced leader with a strong background in executive roles across various sectors. Currently serving as an Independent Director at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago, Maria holds committee memberships in Operations & Technology and Human Resources & Compensation. Previously, as CEO of Leadership Greater Chicago, Maria transformed the organization's strategic direction and enhanced its impact in the community. Maria also led a significant merger as CEO of the Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana, creating the largest Girl Scout organization in the U.S. At Microsoft, Maria held multiple leadership positions that included establishing a new office focused on workforce readiness and managing a $270M P&L. Earlier career highlights include impactful roles at Xerox Corporation and SBC/Ameritech. Maria's academic credentials include fellowships at Northwestern University-Kellogg School of Management and Harvard Business School, along with an MBA in Marketing from Northern Illinois University and a BA in Art Education from North Central College.
