Dan Hauenstein

Dan Hauenstein is an experienced labor arbitrator and mediator, currently serving as an Arbitrator for the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service and a Fact Finder/Conciliator for the State (OH) Employment Relations Board. Dan has been a Labor Arbitrator/Mediator with the American Arbitration Association since 2018 and has held a Principal/Facilitator/Consultant role at JND Organization Solutions, focusing on employee coaching, HR audits, and policy development. Dan has a significant HR background, having served as Human Resources Director for Cuyahoga County Public Library and held various HR leadership roles in multiple educational institutions. Dan holds an Ed.D. in Education Leadership, an MBA in Human Resource Management, and a B.A. in Liberal Arts, supplemented by earlier education at Columbia University. Dan is also a member of the National Academy of Arbitrators.
