Jan Monchaux

Jan Monchaux is a seasoned professional in the motorsport engineering field, currently serving as the Single Seater Technical Director at the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile since February 2024. Monchaux previously held the position of Technical Director at Sauber Motorsport AG from April 2018 to February 2024, where responsibilities also included overseeing aerodynamics. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Audi AG as the Leiter Fahrzeugentwicklung & Aerodynamik Motorsport and as Team Leader Aerodynamics at Ferrari. Monchaux's career began at Toyota Motorsport and includes a solid educational foundation with a Master of Engineering degree from ISAE-SUPAERO and an Erasmus semester at Imperial College London.
