Dr. Wendy Troxel is an internationally recognized scientist who studies the role of sleep in contributing to health, well-being and productivity. She is also a clinical psychologist, specializing in behavioral treatments for insomnia and other sleep disorders across the lifespan. Dr. Troxel holds an Adjunct Faculty position in Psychiatry and Psychology at the University of Pittsburgh. Her research has been featured in media outlets including the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, MSNBC, and CNN, and she has received funding from the National Institutes of Health and the Department of Defense, among others. Dr. Troxel holds a Ph.D. in Clinical/Health Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh.
