Kaethe Burt-O'Dea

Kaethe Burt-O'Dea is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in creative direction, research, and healthcare design. Currently serving as the Creative Director at Bí URBAN since December 2016, Kaethe leads initiatives for a natural skincare range. In a simultaneous role as the Director of Research and Development at desireland since 2005, Kaethe has specialized in innovative research methodologies to advance community-based healthcare models. Additionally, Kaethe has contributed as a Healthcare Design Research Consultant at Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios, focusing on design research for healthcare projects, and has founded the LIFELINE Project to foster urban healthcare design. As the Director of Research for SPUDS, Kaethe advocates for sustainable food systems, while previous roles include leadership in community engagement and research initiatives. Academic credentials include a graduate diploma in Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Enterprise from University College Dublin and an MSc in advanced environmental and energy studies from the University of East London.
