Thijn Lamers

Thijn Lamers was the Executive Vice President Global Sales of Adyen. Thijn joined Adyen’s founding team at its inception in 2007. Since then, Adyen has become world’s leading omnichannel payments platform servicing clients including Uber, Netflix, Spotify, eBay and Google.

When Adyen had its successful IPO in 2018, Thijn stepped down to work on new start-ups, angel investments and has also joined a number of advisory boards.

Before Adyen, Thijn successfully built and headed up the wholesale division of O2 in the Netherlands, enabling highly successful mobile virtual network operators in Europe. This company was sold in 2006.

Thijn studied at IESE Business School Barcelona and holds an MBA.
