Hannah Maria Wright

Hannah Maria Wright is an emerging media professional with experience in various roles within journalism and education. Currently serving as a mentee at Femme It Forward since June 2022, Hannah has also worked as a STEAM teacher at Palm Springs Unified School District from August 2022 to May 2023. Previous positions include reporting for MUSE TV in July 2022, interning at KQED from January 2022 to July 2022, and participating in the Danish School of Media & Journalism as both a student and documentary filmmaker. Hannah has gained valuable experience as a broadcast intern at NBC Palm Springs/KMIR and as a social media and communications intern with the City of Indio, while also working as a cocktail server at Morongo Casino Resort & Spa. During time at Whittier College, Hannah served as a play-by-play announcer and color commentator for more than 20 sporting events. Hannah holds a degree in Broadcast Journalism from San Francisco State University and has also studied at the Danish School of Media & Journalism.
