Sergio Duca is a Non Executive Director at Ferrari. Sergio has also worked as a Collaboratore tecnico professionale at Arpal - Agenzia regionale per la protezione dell'ambiente ligure from October 2019 to February 2020 and as a Technician at Municipality of Stradella from December 2017 to September 2019.
From August 2005 to June 2017, Sergio Duca was an EMPLOYEE at STUDIO RINALDO where they collaborated in the design of hydraulics works, drainage works for road platform (e.g. highways), morphological restoration of Venice Lagoon and sewage plants. Sergio also collaborated in the editing of environmental impact assessments, environmental incidence assessments, landscapes evaluations, hydraulic compatibility analyses, cost-benefit analyses and depollution efficacy analyses.
Sergio Duca has also implemented hydrodynamic models with Delft 3D software for the calculation of wave motion, solid transport, current velocity and diffusion of constituents (e.g. salinity, pollutants) in rivers and tidal areas such as lagoons, estuaries and coasts. Sergio has also calculated environmental noise and air pollution caused by transport infrastructures (roads, railroads, airports and industries) through the use of SoundPLAN and Austal 2000 software.
Sergio Duca graduated from the Università degli Studi di Padova with a degree in environmental engineering. Sergio also has a high school diploma from Liceo Scientifico Statale "P.Paleocapa" Rovigo. Sergio is also certified by the Dipartimento Protezione Civile in Corso di formazione per la gestione tecnica dell’emergenza sismica, rilievo del danno e valutazione dell’agibilità AeDES - Esperto Valutatore Aedes.
