Daejin Lee

Daejin Lee serves as the Global Head of Research at FertiStream since September 2023, recognized as a top expert in the shipping and commodity industry with notable executive interviews featured on BBC World News Live and CNBC Live TV. Prior to this role, Daejin held positions at S&P Global as Director of Shipping Analytics and Research, where expertise in freight and commodity analytics was developed, and significant media features related to shipping market issues occurred. With a solid background in various consulting and analytical roles at IHS Markit, Hyundai GLOVIS, Hanjin Shipping, Daeyang Shipping Co., Ltd., and experience in the Republic of Korea Army, Daejin possesses extensive knowledge of maritime economics. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Korea University and a literature and politics exchange program at Royal Holloway, University of London.
