Joshua Chappelle

Joshua Chappelle has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple companies and roles. Joshua is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Fetch Rewards, Inc. since May 2021. Prior to this, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Shipt from March 2018 to May 2021, where they worked on the payments team and developed backend services for member and shopper payments. Joshua also created and maintained micro-services in Ruby on Rails and Golang for the checkout process and developed card authorization solutions to minimize fraud.

Before joining Shipt, Joshua worked at Redi Enterprise Development, Inc. for over a decade starting from February 2007. There, they held the role of Senior Developer / Project Manager and played a key role in designing and developing a J2EE based Risk Management system for financial institutions. Joshua also implemented deployment tools and developed an ETL program in Java to extract, transform, and load data from different systems into the company's database.

Joshua's work experience also includes a role as a Software Developer at NASA, where they developed a knowledge management system for the NASA Propulsion System Department. Joshua gathered requirements from engineers and installed/configured a Vignette web portal application. Additionally, they worked as a Software Developer I at Jack Henry & Associates from April 2005 to August 2006.

Joshua Chappelle attended The University of Alabama from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree. Joshua studied Computer Science and Mathematics during their time at the university. In April 2011, Joshua received a certification as an Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 6 Programmer from Oracle.
