Yann Darroman

Yann Darroman is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in power electronics and project management. Currently serving as a Senior Buyer at FICOSA since January 2020, Yann specializes in sourcing for power electronics, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), and aerospace projects. Prior roles include Production Line Manager and Project Program Manager at Thales Alenia Space, where responsibilities encompassed managing production ramp-down for the Ariane 5 program and overseeing projects related to power processing units for satellite applications. Yann's career began at Lear Corporation, where leadership was exhibited in technical activities for power electronics projects, as well as contributing as a senior engineer in hybrid and electric vehicle development. Additionally, Yann has academic experience as a lecturer in power electronics at the University of Bristol. Educational qualifications include a PhD in engineering and a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Bristol and IUP Amiens, respectively.
