Mark Tibbetts has extensive experience in the scientific and nonprofit sectors. Currently serving as a Volunteer at the Pup House and Puppy Raiser with the Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation since August 2018, Mark has also been a Foundation Member of the Vellore CMC Foundation since 2006. From September 1987 to May 2022, Mark worked as a Senior Scientist at Pfizer Global R&D, and in early 2005, contributed as a Pfizer Global Health Fellow at the Christian Medical College and Hospital in Vellore, India, focusing on laboratory quality training and accreditation efforts. Mark holds a Graduate Certificate in Biohazardous Threat Agents and Emerging Infectious Diseases from Georgetown University, a Master’s degree in Microbiology from the University of Connecticut, and a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from the University of Rochester.
