Gabriela Barroso

Gabriela Barroso is an experienced environmental engineer currently working at FIEMG as an Engenheira de Meio Ambiente SESI/FIEMG - CTO Vale, where responsibilities include coordinating water supply plans and managing technical solutions for water supply systems affected by hypothetical dam break scenarios. Previously, Gabriela served as an environmental analyst at Arcadis and as a consultant in various roles, focusing on waste management, water quality, and monitoring programs. Academic involvement includes research at the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais related to watershed management and teaching support at CEFET-MG. Gabriela holds a Master's degree in Saneamento, Meio Ambiente e Recursos Hídricos from UFMG and is pursuing a Doctorate in the same field.
