Leandro Castelao

Leandro Castelao is a seasoned brand designer currently working at Figma since January 2022. As a co-founder of Flecha Books, established in 2018, Castelao focuses on recovering and publishing overlooked graphic materials. Previously, as a co-founder of Datalands from July 2019 to December 2021, Castelao contributed to shaping data and brands through an independent creative studio. From December 2010 to July 2019, Castelao worked as an illustrator and graphic designer at Studio Castelao, while also serving as a professor at the Facultad de Arquitectura, Universidad de Buenos Aires from April 2003 to December 2013, teaching illustration and typography. Castelao holds a licentiate degree in Graphic Design from the University of Buenos Aires, completed between 2000 and 2006.
