Ana Maria Torres

Ana Maria Torres currently serves as the Director for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at FII Institute and is actively involved with SXSW as a Pitch Advisory Board Member and as a Development Finance Ambassador for Seedstars. With extensive experience as a Senior Advisor and Director for Global Ecosystems and the Entrepreneurship World Cup at the Global Entrepreneurship Network, Ana Maria held previous roles as a Strategic Advisor and Program Manager at Young Americas Business Trust, and as a Consultant at the Inter-American Development Bank. Early career positions include Advisor at the Ministerio de Comercio, Industria y Turismo, and various roles with the OAS. Ana Maria's educational background includes a MSc. in Development Management from The London School of Economics and Political Science and ongoing studies at The Wharton School, complemented by executive education at MIT Sloan.
