Alex Benzer

Alex Benzer is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor with extensive experience in product management and startup ecosystems. Currently serving as a Venture Scout at Fika Ventures since 2024, Alex focuses on supporting founders addressing systemic problems through data and AI technologies. Previously, as Director of Product Management at Medium from 2021 to 2024, Alex led a team that significantly boosted customer acquisition and recurring revenue, while also launching innovative subscription models. Prior roles include co-founding and serving as Chief Product Officer at Knowable and Vidme, both of which were successfully acquired, and advising GIPHY during its acquisition by Facebook. Alex's early career includes co-hosting SocialEngine, a platform for custom social websites, and earning a BA in Entrepreneurship from the University of Redlands.
