Simona Vrantsalieva

Simona Vrantsalieva is a dedicated finance student at The London School of Economics and Political Science, currently serving as a Research Assistant for Dr. Simeon Djankov on a project focused on women's empowerment and economic freedom. In addition to academic pursuits, Simona holds the position of Head of External Relations for the LSESU Business & Investment Group, the largest student-run society at LSE. Previous experiences include internships at Bloomberg and Expat Capital, where Simona gained insights into analytics, asset management, and market volatility. Simona also initiated the Career Discovery Sessions project to aid students in exploring career paths through inspirational interviews. Highlights of Simona's accomplishments include participation in the LSE Alternative Investments Conference and recognition as a top competitor in the Elite Traders competition organized by AmplifyME.
